Principal (Maggie Lim)
Mdm Chan Bee Khoon is our present
Admin/Accounts clerk. She joined us in 2000. She also handles the afternoon Primary School
group children where she supervises their homework and teaches them
Mandarin and Mathematics. She is a very hardworking and dedicated
staff and teacher. She has had training in Teaching Mandarin to Preschoolers,
Hanyu Pinyin Course and more.
Ms Neoh was with us from 1998 to 2003.
She teaches the 6 year olds and helps handle our adminstration.
She left to join another very well established Kindergarten. However, we managed
to persuade her to be with us again in 2007. She has more than 20 years of
experience and is a qualified Pre-School Teacher. Her English is excellent
and we are sure that our children will gain a lot from this.
Head Teacher of Kiddy House 1, Meklin Wee.
Meklin joined us in 1993 and has been teaching the 4 year olds.
She is in-charge of the duty roster in this building and assist in making sure that everything runs smoothly.
She is a dedicated staff and teacher and well loved by the children.
Head Teacher of Kiddy House 3, Komala
Devi (Mala). Mala also joined our organization n 1993 and has taught
both the 5 and 6 year olds. She was a former pediatric ward nurse with
Lam Wah Ee and Specialist Center Hospital and therefore has a lot of
experience and knowledge when it comes to handling sick children. We
are very fortunate to have her in our team. She is a dedicated teacher
who does her best to teacher the children under her. Before joining
us, she was already working with another well-established Kindergarten
in Penang. She has many years of experience and our children have
really done well under her teaching. She is also in-charge of the duty
roster in this building and making sure everything runs smoothly.
PTM trained and qualified teacher. She specialises in teaching Phonics.
Prakash too has been with us since 1993.
He does Music and Movement for us in the afternoons part-time.
Sitha is our school group teacher.
She teaches our children English and Science. She has been with us since 2003.
Her good English has really worked well for our School Group children as seen
in the examination results.
Rashidah joined us in 2004. She took up the course - Theory of the Montessori Method.
Very understanding towards the children. Able to tackle even the most difficult child
with lots of patience.
Mrs. Leong or better known as Auntie
to everyone. She is our half-day caregiver. She came to work for
us in 1993 too. She comes in at 12.00pm to care and love the children.
She spends time playing and talking to them and the children loves her.
Zainabah has been working with our team
since 1996. She is an experienced teacher from Sarawak.
She is with the 2-3 year olds. A very patient and loving teacher. Excellent with
this young age group. This is clearly seen by how much the children love her.
Annie joined us in 2006 and has been
teaching the 2-3 year olds. She is from another daycare/kindergarten
centre. Her patience with the young children is great.
Mrs Lai worked with us from 1998 to 2000. She left us to work for another well-established
kindergarten. We managed to get her back into our
service in 2007. She will be a great asset to our kindergarten and children.
She has undergone courses to teach Mandarin and Hanyu Pinyin.
Anna was our Mandarin teacher for several years in the 1990s. She
left us to join another kindergarten. We have welcomed here back in 2007 and know
that she will do wonders for our children. She has more
than 20 years of experience. She is a trained and qualified teacher (Diploma in Teaching
by CECC).
Jamilah teaches Bahasa Malaysia and English in our 5 and
6-year-old class. She joined us in the year 2000. She is also in
charge of the Primary School Group. She teaches them English
and Bahasa Malaysia. She has done well with the Primary school children.
Sharon teaches the 5 and 6 year olds Mandarin
and other subjects. She joined us in 2005. She is from another kindergarten.
We have sent her to many courses to
keep her well equipped for teaching. A patient and keen to learn teacher.
Sally or Aunty Sally to the children is our
assistant child-minder for the 2 and 3 year olds. She is a retired government nurse.
She has been with us since 2005.
Lim joined us in 2007.
She has undergone our internal training. She will be attending courses soon to
further improve her teaching.
These are the rest of our team who works very hard to keep our center clean and serve nutritious food to the children and staff. Without them, it would be very difficult to have a clean and well-maintained center. Their contribution is really appreciated here.
Here, we value the services of all our staff very much regardless of
which position they hold as we believe everyone has a part to play in
making the center a success. We believe in respect for one another
and working together as a team.
Once again, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our
staff for the loyalty, dedication and contribution in making Kiddy
House Nursery a success that it is today.
