VALENTINE CRAFTS FOR KIDS

DOUBLE HEART POP-UP VALENTINE CARD

Teach kids how to make a valentine pop-up card. This is an easy valentine craft.

Easy to make

Materials :

art paper or whatever paper you want
scissors
crayons, color pencils or paint (depending on age)
markers

Method :

Fold paper into half first. Fold this half piece into another half.

Open the paper and leave only the length-wise folded into half. Draw half a heart on the fold - one small and one big heart. (See picture) Mark the area that you do not want to cut in color (which is green on the picture here).

Ask children to color the heart red.

Explain to children cutting instructions - do not cut the green part. You might have to help the younger children.

After cutting both hearts, fold the card into 4 folds again. Fold the green part that you did not cut outwards so that the hearts will pop-up.

Color paste or draw hearts on the cover. Write "Happy Valentine's Day" on it (children to write if they know how).
