PROGRAMME

PLAYGROUP (Age 2-3)

Activities include : MONTESSORI METHOD : (We have the full range of Montessori Apparatus for our children to choose and work on) - LANGUAGE - nursery rhymes - music and movement - story telling - dramatic play - Basic Phonics - CREATIVE - art & craft - playdoh - MOTOR SKILLS - large motor skills (Outdoor Play) - fine motor skills (block play, coloring, etc) - PRACTICAL LIFE EXERCISES - ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES - COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT & NUMBERS - SENSORIAL ACTIVITIES We would like to remind parents that the program here is mainly learning through play and fun. Parents should not expect their children to write and read some Reading Schemes at this age.

READINESS (Age 4)

Activities include : MONTESSORI METHOD : (We have the full range of Montessori Apparatus for our children to choose and work on) - LANGUAGE - English and Basic Bahasa Malaysia (Full-Day children : Basic Mandarin) - Phonics - nursery rhymes - music and movement - story telling - dramatic play - CREATIVE - art & craft - playdoh - MOTOR SKILLS - large motor skills (Outdoor Play) - fine motor skills (block play, coloring, etc) - PRACTICAL LIFE EXERCISES - ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES (SCIENCE) - BASIC PHONICS (tracing & writing) - BASIC NUMBERS (tracing & writing) - SENSORIAL ACTIVITIES - INTRODUCTION TO READING SCHEME (Individually taught) ***COMPUTER CLASS (optional separate class...additional fees) ***ART CLASS (optional too ...additional charges/held on Saturdays only)

KINDERGARTEN/PRESCHOOL(Age 5-6)

Our Kindergarten classes are divided into : - English Medium (those going to National Primary Schools) - Chinese Medium (those going to Chinese Medium Schools) 1. ENGLISH MEDIUM 5 year olds : All subjects will be taught in English and Bahasa Malaysia will be introduced as a language. Subjects taught : - Phonics (Montessori Method) - Maths - Story Telling - Music & Movement - Singing - Integrated Science(Hands on experiments) & English - Reading Scheme (individually done) - Art & Craft - Bahasa Malaysia - Outdoor Play ** COMPUTER CLASS (optional and separate class...additional fees) ***ART CLASS (optional too ...additional charges/held on Saturdays only) 2. CHINESE MEDIUM All subjects will be taught in Mandarin as the medium of instruction. English and Bahasa Malaysia will be taught as a language. We have the full range of Montessori Apparatus for our children to choose and work on. Subjects taught : - Phonics (Montessori Method) - Maths in English/Mandarin - Story Telling - Music & Movement - Singing - Integrated Science (Hands-On Experiments) and English - General Knowledge in Mandarin - Reading in Mandarin - Art & Craft - Bahasa Malaysia - Outdoor Play ** COMPUTER CLASS (optional and separate class...additional fees) ***ART CLASS (optional too ...additional charges/held on Saturdays only) All our lessons are graded and increased in difficulty according to age. We strive to provide a high standard in all our lessons taught.

PRIMARY SCHOOL GROUP (age 7 onwards)

For those who still require our services when their children reach the age of 7 and above, we have "Primary School Group Care" services. Our services here include : supervision of homework, teaching them English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (Chinese school children only) and Science in English. They also have their breakfast and lunch here if they are in the morning session with us or lunch and tea if they are in the afternoon session with us.
